It's been an interesting 50 years since I graduated. After spending a decade writing for TV in Los Angeles, I moved to New York City to pursue a playwriting career... and to get out of Los Angeles. I've written 20 full-length plays and about 90 short plays, and I've had an unusual career. Although major theaters (e.g., large regional theaters) haven't even considered my work, my full-length plays have had hundreds of productions at small theaters around the world. My short plays have had over 2000 productions in professional and amateur theaters, colleges and high schools.

A few years ago, still loving theatrical writing but also feeling burnt out, I changed my focus. I wrote an autobiographical monologue, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL WOUND, which I've performed at both theaters and psychedelic conferences around the country. I began writing poems, which have been published in a few journals and also used by churches, synagogues, meditation gatherings, yoga classes, and other groups. I wrote my first musical comedy, which has received a few productions so far, and I'm working on my second. I still love writing and am continually amazed at the creative process.

I've been married and divorced, with various relationships before and after. Although I haven't had the success I dreamed of in either love or work, I've certainly had a life full of amazing adventures.
